Below is a brief description of the responsibilities and/or projects for the Student Promotions Coordinator
. Advertising campaign – Culinary program to students, faculty, and staff; includes newspaper, web, print, and other mediums
. Help plan and implement student promotions and activities in on-campus dining locations
. Develop and distribute flyers and tabletents
. Organize and hand out giveaways/taste testing such as candy, mints, fountain beverages, sandwiches, etc.
. Brainstorm and implement other strategies for marketing
. Signs for food locations – interior and exterior
. Free samples program
. Create buzz on campus – word of mouth
. Postcards
. Research into product development via web or phone calls
. Observations of the dining facilities and feedback.
. And, otherwise instructed, by the marketing manager or the director of dining services.
The SPC will be asked to dedicate 10-15 hours per week for to assist in the implementation of projects.
