Binghamton Wins Chefs Fare at Niagara University
Binghamton University concluded the New York Chef’s Fare competition with a win on the campus of Niagara University on Wednesday. Binghamton beat nine other colleges and university culinary teams to win the competition. The Chef’s Fare took place over ten weeks of competition on nine college and university campuses across upstate New York. During that time, more than 10,000 creative menu samples were served, with more than 4,000 votes cast by students, faculty, staff, and guests.

NE Regional Culinary Challenge- Second Place!
Congratulations to Chef Sam Pfaffenbach from Binghamton University. At
the NE Regional Culinary Challenge in Cortland, Sam earned a Silver for
his dish. His trio of Duck opened with Soy Duck Soup with a Ginger
Scallion Duck Qunelle, followed by a luscious Duck Lettuce Wrap with
Ginger Soy Dipping Sauce. His entrée featured Maple Laquered Duck
Breast over Stir-Fried Rice Noodles. It was Sam's 3rd Competition at
the NACUFS NE Regional Culinary Challenge.
